Strategic Policy Discussion

The Thursday morning policy session focused on the two major strategic themes – trends in access and student success, and insight from performance based funding. Board members, chancellors, staff, and others heard   a presentation by Andrew Kelly, UNC Senior Vice President for Strategy and Policy, on trends in access and student success in North Carolina.  Matthew Pellish, Senior Director of Strategic Research and Education at the Education Advisory Board in Washington, D.C., then shared data and some lessons learned from performance-based funding in other states.

Video archives of the presentations and PowerPoint slides are available.
